Job Type: Part-time / PRN
Compensation: Pay per session
Schedule: Flexible; Morning. evening and weekend availability preferred
We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensed in Ohio to join our remote psychiatry team. This role involves delivering virtual psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management while collaborating with a physician and an interdisciplinary clinical team to provide coordinated, patient-centered mental health care.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments via telehealth
Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and related conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans and provide medication management
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically indicated
Collaborate with a supervising/collaborating physician in accordance with Ohio regulations
Work closely with therapists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care
Educate patients on diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and coping strategies
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and Ohio state requirements
Stay current with best practices in psychiatric care and telehealth services
Master’s degree or higher in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner specialization
Active, unrestricted Ohio APRN license (required)
PMHNP certification (required)
Ability to practice under a Standard Care Arrangement with a collaborating physician, as required by Ohio law
Experience in psychiatric or mental health care, including medication management
Strong communication skills and ability to engage patients in a virtual setting
Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred
