Route Delivery Driver in Bowling Green, Kentucky at GA Foods

GA foods is hiring a Delivery Driver with a good driving record. The ideal Delivery Driver candidate will enjoy making a difference in peoples' lives! Our driver's are responsible for delivering ready-made, hot and/or frozen/shelf stable meals to senior citizens and other at-risk populations, according to assigned route.

We don't deliver on late evenings and we work on a schedule that is normally M-F. We offer easy going routes with scheduled deliveries. Don't work unregular schedules anymore and don't overwork yourself with hundreds of deliveries a day. We have a steady job with scheduled routes on a full time capacity here for you.

This is a full-time position with possible Over Time compensation, bonuses and full benefits.

Successful Route Delivery Driver candidates will exhibit the following attributes:

Route Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License
• Good planning skills and attention to detail are required
• Basic computer skills are necessary in order to utilize a tablet to record activity and general vehicle information
• Some physical activity to include pallet jack operation and loading and unloading of trucks is required
• Must have current DOT medical card (or are able to pass the DOT medical exam) as you will be operating a CMV straight truck
• Prior route/delivery/distribution experience required

Route Delivery Driver - Physical Demands:

• Under 1/3: Stand, Walk, Use hands to finger/handle/feel, Climb or balance, Stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl.
  
  Weight Lifting/Exertion:
• Under 1/3: Up to 80 lbs.
• 1/3 to 2/3: Up to 50 lbs.
