SHIFT: Hours: 6:30 am - 3:30 pm Mon-Fri

JOB SUMMARY

Manage day-to-day operations of new home inspections, installations, services, and warranties by service techs for “Superior Service” through effective professional communication, accuracy, production, and profitability while promoting teamwork.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist Sales, Service, Scheduling, and Installation for all field needs
  • Report new home starts and progressions for applicable builders
  • Verify new home measurements for applicable builders
  • Subfloor Inspections
  • Inspect wall tile and verify diagrams for every builder for accuracy
  • Quality control and manage installs, service and warranties through ERP system
  • Report stop payments, warranties and services through ERP system
  • Inspect and repairs for warranties and or services
  • Moisture readings
  • Product delivery as needed
  • Train new service techs
  • Installation and product knowledge training for new hires
  • ERP systems
  • Monthly reports for improvement and praise

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Recruit, interview, and train new hires
  • Goals for the department and individuals
  • Conduct quarterly evaluations & update associate goals
  • Daily tasks are balanced per area
  • Exceptions for department solutions to eliminate
  • Process variance pay request
  • Update procedures & job descriptions for your area
  • Create ways to make MetroKraft a unique place to work
  • Attend seminars to enhance the departments
  • Assist with department meetings
  • Recruit subcontractors
Requirements:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Minimum of 2 years’ experience required in the flooring industry
  • High School diploma
  • Effective Communication
  • Computer Skills
  • Drivers License

  • Frequent travel to project sites and office locations
  • Ability to navigate construction sites, including climbing stairs and standing for periods
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must possess the ability to stand for extended periods of time; to reach with hands and arms; to move among and between offices; to handle mail and documents; to sit, stoop, kneel and crouch

  • Field-based with exposure to outdoor weather conditions and active construction sites
