Job Description

Purpose

Execute installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial pool equipment while delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service, ensuring operational efficiency, revenue contribution, and adherence to company standards.

Key Contributions

  • Install, diagnose, and repair pool equipment including heaters, pumps, filters, plumbing systems, and electrical components.
  • Deliver high-quality workmanship to minimize rework, warranty costs, and quality control expenses.
  • Interact with customers to provide service recommendations, education, and solutions to pool system issues.
  • Contribute to team revenue goals by identifying service opportunities and supporting sales targets.
  • Collaborate with Service Manager and team to ensure alignment with company policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in compliance with safety and operational guidelines.
  • Execute all work in accordance with safety standards, including electrical, chemical, and equipment handling protocols.
  • Support team performance by contributing to overall service KPIs and operational goals..

Success Metrics

  • Missed Appointment Rate: = 8% of total scheduled appointments.
  • Callback Rate: = 8% of completed jobs requiring return visit.
  • Cancellation Rate: = 15% of scheduled jobs canceled.
  • First-Time Fix Rate: = 92% of jobs resolved without follow-up visit.
  • Quality Control (QC) Performance: = 95% of jobs completed without quality-related cost or rework.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems (110V/220V) and pool equipment repair.

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments and lift required weight.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pool equipment installation and repair (residential and/or commercial).
  • Knowledge of plumbing hydraulics and automated pool systems.
  • Experience in a field service, customer-facing role.
