Responsibilities
**This is a hybrid opportunity. The ideal candidate must reside within a commutable distance from either our Center City, MN or St. Paul, MN locations.**
The Content Producer is responsible for developing high-quality photo, video, and digital content that advances brand visibility, engagement, and mission impact. This role blends creative production, content strategy, and channel optimization to deliver compelling storytelling across platforms.
Working closely with marketing, communications, and digital teams, this role leads the end-to-end creation of multimedia content aligned with brand strategy, key campaigns, and audience needs. The Content Producer brings a strong social-first mindset, technical production expertise, and data-informed decision-making to optimize performance and reach.
- Content Production & Management
- Produce, capture, and edit high-quality design, video and photography content that aligns with brand standards and messaging across channels (social, web, email, campaigns).
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop content that supports strategic initiatives, audience engagement, and fundraising efforts.
- Own execution of multimedia content, including shooting, editing, post-production, and final delivery.
- Apply a social-first approach to content creation—developing engaging formats across video, imagery, and audio.
- Partner with social media stakeholders to plan and execute a content calendar aligned with annual campaigns and organizational priorities.
- Monitor and analyze content performance; use insights to refine creative approach and improve engagement, reach, and effectiveness.
- Stay current with industry trends, platform changes, and audience behaviors to inform innovative content strategies.
- Be able to create and iterate creative solutions in a fast-paced, demand generation environment
- Cross-Channel Optimization & Collaboration
Partner with digital and marketing teams to optimize video and content for SEO, YouTube, and search visibility.
Provide video editing support for prevention programs and priority initiatives.
Collaborate with web and digital teams to enhance video integration, user experience, and platform functionality.
Serve as a subject matter contributor on content best practices across channels.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Video Production, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in content creation, including a strong portfolio of video and photography work.
- Demonstrated expertise in multimedia production, including filming, editing, and post-production.
- Proficiency with creative tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, and similar platforms.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms, content management systems, and digital channels.
- Strong understanding of brand standards, storytelling, and audience engagement strategies.
- Experience using analytics tools to assess content performance and inform optimization.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
