Job Description
Position Summary
Tribeca Cabinetry is seeking a dependable and hardworking Driver Helper to assist with the delivery of cabinetry, and related materials to residential and commercial job sites. The Driver Helper works alongside the delivery driver to ensure products are loaded, transported, and delivered safely, efficiently, and professionally while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the driver with loading and unloading cabinets, countertops, and related products.
Help secure materials in delivery vehicles to prevent damage during transport.
Deliver products to customer locations, construction sites, and warehouses.
Verify delivery orders and ensure items are delivered accurately.
Assist with carrying and placing products in designated areas as directed by customers or project managers.
Inspect products for damage before and after delivery.
Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and work area.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Provide courteous and professional service to customers and team members.
Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing orders for delivery.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, frequently up to 75 pounds or more with assistance.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet delivery schedules.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in delivery, moving, warehouse, or construction environments is a plus.
Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
Physical Requirements
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of heavy cabinetry products.
Standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs throughout the workday.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions during deliveries.
