About the ProgramSalute is seeking transitioning Active Duty Service Members who are eligible to participate in the Department of War (DoW) SkillBridge Program. This requisition serves as a general application for multiple SkillBridge internship opportunities across our U.S. operations.
Available training programs may include:
Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer (CFE I, II & III)
Data Center Facilities Engineer (DCO)
Data Center Facilities Technician (MSO)
Data Center Technician (DCT)
Data Center Cleaning Technician (Day Porter)
Data Center Security Officer
Participants receive structured, mentor-led training, Salute University coursework, hands-on operational experience, and professional development designed to prepare them for long-term careers in the mission-critical data center industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in a structured SkillBridge training program aligned with your selected career path.
Work alongside experienced mentors in a mission-critical data center environment.
Complete required Salute University coursework and safety training.
Perform supervised hands-on assignments and progressively demonstrate technical competency.
Follow all company safety policies, operational procedures, and customer requirements.
Participate in weekly coaching, evaluations, and professional development activities.
Complete all required SkillBridge documentation and program requirements.
Active Duty member of the U.S. Armed Forces eligible for participation in the DoW SkillBridge Program.
Within 180 days of military separation (or otherwise eligible under your branch's SkillBridge guidance).
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain command approval for SkillBridge participation.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn new technical skills in a mission-critical environment.
Ability to work safely, professionally, and adapt to a fast-paced operational environment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office are preferred.
