Primary/Principal Responsibilities:

Responsibility

Provide service to Suffolk University students and their families as they visit the RAM Registration and Financial Center, via internet, e-mail and telephone when addressing Bursar, Financial Services, and Registrar functions.
20%
Process incoming documents and payments as they relate to the individual areas: Bursar, Financial Services, and Registrar. Imaging/scanning and resulting workflow for paperwork received by office via email, US mail, and fax.
15%
Process on the spot services such as but not limited to requests for unofficial and official transcripts, enrollment verifications, scheduling appointments, and Student Advantage card printing.
10%
Act as a liaison and participate in meetings with one of the RAM Center offices (Bursar, Financial Services, or Registrar) to assist in a variety of areas including book advance requests, distributing financial aid documents, registration, graduation, bill payment, etc.

Other duties as assigned by the Manager or Directors of the three functional offices including but not limited to representing the RAM Center at graduation packet pick-up and orientation events.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with one to three years of relevant experience required.
- Strong computer skills including: MS Office (Word and Excel), Outlook. Experience with Ellucian Colleague preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be committed to providing the highest level of customer service and responsiveness.
- Demonstrated experience working in a high volume, deadline oriented customer focused environment.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be creative and proactive. Must have ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle difficult situations.
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion and tact in accordance with FERPA and university policies.
- Standard hours of this position are 8:45am to 4:45 pm, M-F but occasional weekend or morning/evening hours required.

The listed pay range reflects base salary only and does not include additional benefits or compensation.
