Shift: Fri through Sunday - 4:00PM - 12:00AM, Mon & Tues - 12:00AM -8:00AM, Wed & Thurs - OFF

Carabetta Property Management is seeking a reliable, professional, and dedicated Security Guard to help protect our residents, property, and community in Springfield, MA.

As a member of our team, you will play an important role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our residents and visitors. We are looking for individuals who are alert, dependable, and take pride in providing professional security services.

• Patrol apartment grounds, buildings, and common areas to identify suspicious activity, trespassing, and safety concerns.

• Monitor security cameras, access points, and property surroundings.

• Respond promptly to resident, management, and security-related calls.

• Respond to emergencies, including fires, medical emergencies, and security alarms, following established procedures.

• Perform routine checks of doors, gates, windows, and other access points.

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the property.

• Assist residents and visitors with a helpful, respectful, and professional attitude.

• Enforce property rules and regulations fairly and professionally.

• Prepare accurate daily security reports documenting incidents, suspicious activity, and property concerns.

• Report maintenance and safety hazards to management.

• Work closely with property management and emergency personnel when needed.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• Prior Security Guard Experience — Required.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous security, property security, or law enforcement experience preferred.

• Must be reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.

• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the shift.

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.

• Must be willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening, as required.

• Must be comfortable working in a residential property management environment.
