Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Maintenance & Facilities Support team member to perform general facility maintenance, small repairs, carpentry work, and upkeep throughout our shop and entire facility. This position will help ensure the building, work areas, offices, and common areas remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on individual who can identify maintenance needs, perform basic repairs, and assist with facility improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general facility maintenance and minor repairs throughout the shop, offices, and entire facility.
- Complete small carpentry projects and repairs, including walls, shelving, work areas, and other facility fixtures.
- Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, filters and other basic facility items as needed.
- Inspect the facility and identify maintenance repair, or safety issues that need to be addressed.
- Assist with shop-area maintenance, organization, and facility improvement project.
- Maintain and repair work areas, storage areas, breakrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Assist with facility setup, moving equipment or materials and general building projects as needed.
- Keep maintenance tools, supplies, and work area organized and properly maintained.
- Coordinate with management or outside contractors when specialized repairs or services are required.
- Perform other maintenance and facilities -related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, carpentry, or repair experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete small repairs independently.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable working in shop and office environments.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions.
