Product Support Leader

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a T901 Product Support Leader based in the United States.

This is a strategic product support leadership role focused on ensuring the readiness, supportability, and long-term sustainment of a next-generation turbine engine program. You will lead cross-functional teams through development, qualification, production introduction, and entry into service. The role connects engineering, operations, program management, customer support, and sustainment functions to deliver integrated solutions. You will influence product support strategy, resource planning, cost, schedule, and digital support initiatives. Success requires strong operational judgment and the ability to make informed decisions across complex technical and business challenges. This remote opportunity offers broad visibility, meaningful leadership responsibility, and the chance to contribute to critical aviation and defense programs.

Accountabilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams and direct reports responsible for product support activities throughout development and production introduction, aligning stakeholders with program milestones and customer commitments.

  • Develop, maintain, and execute an integrated product support plan through qualification, entry into service, and transition to sustainment.

  • Coordinate support activities across support equipment, repair engineering, technical publications, reliability, maintainability, human factors, provisioning, customer training, and maintenance data systems.

  • Develop cost and schedule estimates and support internal and external Earned Value Management activities, providing visibility into risks, assumptions, progress, and execution status.

  • Manage product and service development from concept through production introduction, ensuring supportability is incorporated into the product and can scale effectively.

  • Help shape product support strategy, resource planning, policies, and best practices in response to technical, operational, and business challenges.

  • Develop and implement digital product support strategies that use data and technology to improve sustainment insights, customer value, and operational readiness.

  • Analyze complex or incomplete information, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to address technical, schedule, cost, and customer challenges.

  • Support long-term planning and broader business strategy while maintaining accountability for functional and program-level objectives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in an appropriate discipline.

  • At least 5 years of experience in product support, product development, or a closely related field.

  • Demonstrated experience leading programs, projects, or cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of product support planning, development, production introduction, sustainment, or related aerospace/engineering processes.

  • Established project management capabilities, including the ability to document, plan, coordinate, and execute complex initiatives.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate multiple data sources and make sound decisions in situations involving ambiguity or competing priorities.

  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability, including experience aligning teams, influencing stakeholders, and driving execution toward defined outcomes.

  • Ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, program management, customer-facing, and other functional teams.

  • Ability to meet applicable U.S. requirements for access to export-controlled information and authorization to work in the United States.

  • Willingness to complete applicable pre-employment screening requirements.

Benefits
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience, qualifications, and role responsibilities.

  • Fully remote work arrangement.

  • Relocation assistance provided.

  • Professional development and career growth opportunities.

  • Challenging work supporting advanced aviation and defense programs.

  • Opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and experienced technical professionals.

  • Inclusive work environment focused on respect, development, and employee empowerment.

  • Additional employment benefits and programs may apply based on eligibility and location.
