Job Purpose:

The Sales Representative is responsible for coordinating all sales activities within their assigned markets. This includes maintaining regular customer contact, providing excellent service to established accounts, and actively pursuing new customers. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to solve problems proactively, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism.

Responsibilities

· Communicate effectively with sales delivery personnel, office staff, and supervisors to address and meet customer needs.

· Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues to enhance customer satisfaction and resolve issues proactively.

· Develop and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation relevant to assigned markets.

· Assist in the collection of delinquent accounts as needed.

· Develop and present promotional and advertising materials to current customers.

· Organize and execute community-based events to boost consumer interest and promote brand preference.

· Create and deliver impactful sales presentations to existing customers and potential new customers to drive sales growth.

· Train customers on company procedures related to ordering, returns, and handling damaged products.

· Direct merchandisers' activities to ensure effective product presentation.

· Help with product delivery during times of limited delivery capacity (requires appropriate licensing).

· Provide on-call support to departments as needed.

· Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to ensure the effective operation of the department.

Qualifications

· Strong math skills.

· Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

· Demonstrated knowledge of company products.

· Physical ability to lift, push, and pull products weighing up to 60 pounds or more, including lifting overhead and maneuvering in confined spaces.

· Professional appearance and well-groomed demeanor.

· Valid driver's license.

· Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
