Driver in Clearwater, Florida at Zaniboni Lighting

We are hiring a safe shop driver that will inspect, load and deliver parts between locations, vendors and to local client sites. You must be a safe driver, punctual and reliable. Experienced and comfortable driving trucks, box trucks with loading gates, etc.

When not driving, you will assist with shop operations such as washing parts, deburring, polishing, tapping, cutting.

First Shift schedule 6am to 3pm Monday to Friday (two 15-minuet breaks and one hour for lunch).

Hourly: $22+ per hour (negotiable based on skillset and experience)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Check in with the Shop Foreman daily for job assignments.
• Assist with material and supply inventories.
• Daily supply and part pick ups (could be multiple times per day).
• Weekly scrap metal deliveries
• Drop off orders to local client sites when needed.
• Help in deburring, washing, cutting when needed.
• Assist the machine operators to run jobs on the CNC break press.
• Help keep the shop clean and organized.

Requirements

• Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Experience driving and operating box trucks with lift gates
• Experienced working in a manufacturing environment is required
• Must have basic knowledge with general safety regulations
• Organized, punctual with good attention to detail

Physical Demands:

Must have ability to select, lift, carry and stack products weighing between 30 & 50 pounds. The ability to stand up a total of 8-10 hours, with breaks, while occasionally bending, stooping, twisting and do repetitive work for 2 to 4 hours at a time.
