General Labour- Production Workers & Helpers

The Production Worker position offers support and takes the lead in the day-to-day production and packaging of agricultural parts, assembling transit bus windows, and assembling driver protection systems. We are looking for individuals who are team-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.

The Successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:

Assembly cell type of work specifically for Steel, Stainless, Aluminum, and glass materialsWorking with your hands, lifting and moving large pieces of metal, and standing for hours at a time requires physical strength and staminaAssisting machine operators with machine setup, quality control, deburring, stocking and preparing materials for shipmentUse of precision measurement instrumentsOperating machinery in a safe and efficient mannerFollow all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and regulationsEnsuring all items are correctly labelled and packagedMaintaining a clean and organized work areaPerforming quality checks to ensure items meet quality standardsCollaborating with team members to meet production goals

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have:

Strong ability to work well with a diverse group of individualsThe ability to lift to 50 lbs. continuously when requiredThe ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentThe ability to read/interpret drawings/breakdownsUnderstanding the importance of producing quality productsAbility to stand for long periodsStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication and teamwork skillsPrevious experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
