Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Ossining, NY
Compensation: Up to $30/hour DOE

We have been hired to help a client find an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support plant operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment. This role is best suited for a hands-on technician with strong mechanical experience who can quickly respond to equipment issues and help maintain efficient, uninterrupted production. No relocation assistance provided. Must be within a commutable distance to Ossining, NY.

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience
• Experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, including CNC machines, pumps, compressors, and mechanical systems
• Solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, bearings, and gearboxes
• Ability to diagnose equipment failures and perform effective repairs with minimal supervision
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance practices

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production flow
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform timely corrective repairs
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery
• Maintain and repair CNC machines, pumps, compressors, and mechanical systems
• Install and align motors, bearings, shafts, and related components
• Perform basic welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs as needed
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair documentation
• Follow safety procedures and support a safe working environment
