This is a high-impact, remote-first role focused on securing investment capital and shaping the financial trajectory of a fast-growing, mission-driven organization operating across multiple high-impact sectors. You will play a central role in designing and executing fundraising strategies, engaging with sophisticated investors, and structuring deals that enable scalable expansion. The position blends capital raising, investor relations, and strategic finance within an entrepreneurial and fast-paced startup environment. Acting as a key partner to leadership, you will help translate business vision into compelling investment opportunities. Your work will directly influence growth, financial stability, and long-term organizational success. This is an opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building investor ecosystems from the ground up.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will lead end-to-end fundraising and private capital strategy efforts to support organizational growth and expansion, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Develop and execute capital-raising strategies aligned with business objectives across equity, debt, and hybrid structures
  • Identify, engage, and build long-term relationships with angel investors, venture capital firms, family offices, and financial institutions
  • Lead investor outreach, pitch development, meetings, and presentations to communicate the company’s value proposition
  • Structure, negotiate, and support the execution of investment agreements in collaboration with legal and executive teams
  • Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and investment scenarios to support decision-making
  • Prepare investor materials including pitch decks, financial reports, and due diligence documentation
  • Manage investor communications, reporting, and updates to ensure transparency and trust
  • Coordinate due diligence processes and ensure accuracy and alignment of financial and operational data
  • Partner with leadership to align fundraising strategy with broader financial and operational goals
Requirements

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in capital markets, investor relations, and high-growth environments, with the ability to operate independently and strategically.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or capital raising roles
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and capital markets
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising, investor engagement, or deal execution
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong understanding of due diligence processes, compliance, and investor reporting
  • Experience working with startups or high-growth organizations is highly desirable
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong initiative and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environments
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into investment insights
Benefits
  • Remote-first flexibility within the United States
  • Opportunity to play a strategic role in high-impact fundraising and growth initiatives
  • Exposure to senior leadership and direct influence on financial strategy
  • Work in a mission-driven, high-growth environment across multiple sectors
  • Opportunity to shape investor strategy and build long-term capital relationships
  • Dynamic, entrepreneurial culture with high ownership and autonomy
  • Professional growth in capital markets, strategy, and executive-level finance exposure.
