Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Freelance QA Analyst with strong experience in e-commerce platforms, particularly Adobe Commerce, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in manual and automated testing, ensuring high-quality digital experiences across web and mobile platforms.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex transactional systems, contributing to the quality and reliability of scalable digital products in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing
  • Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing across web and mobile applications (iOS & Android).
  • Lead testing efforts within Adobe Commerce environments, ensuring stability across e-commerce flows.
  • Validate transactional journeys such as checkout, payments, and order confirmation processes.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira, ensuring clear and actionable reporting.
  • Execute and support API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
  • Contribute to automated testing strategies, including regression automation and AI-driven testing approaches.
  • Support testing efforts related to platform upgrades and releases within Adobe Commerce ecosystems.
  • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and QA planning processes.
What we'd like to see
  • 4+ years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on manual testing.
  • Proven experience working with Adobe Commerce (Magento).
  • Experience testing e-commerce platforms and transactional flows.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and AI-driven testing approaches.
  • Solid experience with API testing (Postman or similar).
  • Experience testing both web and mobile applications (iOS & Android).
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

This role is currently not available for hire or work in New Mexico, and Hawaii, USA.

The salary range for this position is as listed below. Exactly where a prospective employee will be paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, the actual salary ranges for current and former employees who are either currently filling a similar role or did in the past; the candidates depth of experience and qualifications; the level of specialization the role requires; budgetary considerations; the market demand for that role and the local market conditions that exist where the employee will be based. For current Huge employees, tenure will also be a consideration.
