You will work closely with executive leadership, product, and engineering teams to translate real-world nursing workflows into safe, effective AI-driven solutions. The role carries broad responsibility across nursing operations, quality standards, and clinical governance in both production and evaluation settings. It also includes direct engagement with enterprise healthcare clients, ensuring clinical credibility and alignment with care delivery needs. This is a highly visible position where clinical expertise directly influences product design and patient-facing AI systems. In this role, you will oversee nursing operations and ensure clinical excellence across production and evaluation environments while supporting the evolution of AI-powered healthcare systems. You will define and maintain clinical protocols, quality standards, and safe operational workflows aligned with regulatory and patient safety requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end nursing operations, ensuring consistency, safety, and performance across all clinical workflows supporting AI systems
- Establishing and refining clinical protocols, governance frameworks, and quality assurance standards for AI-assisted care delivery
- Managing and developing nursing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and clinical excellence
- Partnering with engineering, product, and data science teams to translate nursing expertise into technical and operational requirements
- Supporting enterprise client engagements as a clinical subject matter expert, contributing to sales cycles and customer success initiatives
- Representing clinical leadership externally through conferences, publications, and industry-facing thought leadership activities
- Contributing to the design and evolution of AI nursing tools, including nurse co-pilot systems and workflow transformation initiatives
This role requires deep clinical leadership experience combined with the ability to operate effectively in cross-functional, technology-driven environments. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of nursing expertise, operational leadership, and comfort working with AI-enabled systems. Key qualifications include:
- Active RN license in good standing with a BSN required; advanced degrees (MSN, DNP) preferred
- 10+ years of progressive nursing leadership experience, including exposure to diverse care settings and virtual care models
- Proven experience managing nursing operations with direct P&L or equivalent operational accountability
- Strong background collaborating with product, engineering, data science, or healthcare technology teams
- Demonstrated success in clinical transformation, workflow redesign, or quality improvement initiatives at scale
- Ability to translate complex clinical concepts into operational, technical, and product requirements
- Excellent communication skills with experience engaging executive stakeholders and external healthcare clients
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate outcomes, performance metrics, and care quality indicators
