Your Role
As an Equipment Operator, you’ll safely operate heavy equipment to move, set, and process vehicles throughout the facility. You’ll support production goals while helping maintain a clean, safe, and customer-friendly environment.
What You’ll Do as an Equipment Operator
- Operate loaders and other heavy equipment safely
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Move, stage, and dismantle vehicles within the yard
- Follow all safety standards, PPE requirements, and SOPs
- Help maintain clean and functional equipment
- Assist with general automotive recycling tasks as needed
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Support store operations and meet team performance goals
- Grow your skills, assist your team, and perform other assigned tasks.
What You Bring as an Equipment Operator
- No experience needed, will train on the job!
- Basic mechanical or automotive knowledge
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work with minimal supervision
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working indoors/outdoors in varying weather
- Reliable transportation
