About the job: Embark on a new career journey to shape the future as an Espey Quality Control Administrator, where you will be part of a team crafting transformers & power supplies destined for military and industrial products. You will be responsible for maintaining documentation, coordinating audits and inspections, tracking corrective actions, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives. Quality Control Administrator Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Organizes and maintains ISO/AS9100 documents, file structure, correspondence and other departmental records.
- Orders and maintains supplies, and arranges for equipment maintenance.
- Prepares, distributes, tracks internal audit documents and performance, and follows-up to affirm resolution.
- Prepares & coordinates details, documents & logistics associated with internal and external Management Review Meetings.
- Works with the RMA Coordinator for initial inspection and logs GFM, CFM and RMA information in the appropriate files.
- Receives data and inputs information & maintains supplier records in CRM systems.
- Assists QC engineers with the preparation of First Article Report documentation and issuance of CAR’s and SCAR’s, including tracking due dates and follow up actions.
- Tracks non-conformances, customer complaints, and corrective and preventive actions
- Ensures quality documentation is accurate, current, and properly archived.
- Collaborates with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality-related issues.
- Monitors key quality performance indicators and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Supports quality audits and assessments conducted by internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and customers.
- Promotes a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence throughout the organization by actively participating in quality improvement initiatives and projects.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience
- Must be US citizen with ability to secure a US Government security clearance; Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for access to export-controlled data.
- Required Essential Functions include: the ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, and lift up to 25 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, & crouch or crawl. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in QC/QA, manufacturing or production environments supporting military or industrial products
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, & security
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within and between departments
- Ability to meet the requirements for and becoming a QC inspector
- Ability to become an AS9100 Internal Auditor
