Behavioral Health Therapist (Part-Time Nights) | Beacon Health System | Kalamazoo, MI

Beacon Health System is seeking a compassionate and skilled Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team in Kalamazoo, Michigan on a part-time night shift schedule. This role provides comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, behavioral, addictive, and developmental disorders utilizing advanced clinical knowledge and therapeutic expertise.

As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve improved mental health outcomes while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional patient care.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and establish measurable goals.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as appropriate.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatment interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care conferences and treatment planning discussions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with departmental standards, state regulations, and federal guidelines.
• Provide clinical supervision and support to interns and assigned staff members.

Required:

• Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Current Michigan licensure as one of the following:
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Counselor credentialed through the Michigan Board of Counseling
  • Psychologist credentialed through the Michigan Board of Psychology
  • Social Worker credentialed through the Michigan Board of Social Work (all levels accepted)
