Job Description

CRO Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a CRO Specialist based in Canada.

This role sits at the intersection of growth, analytics, and user experience, focusing on improving conversion across multiple digital touchpoints. You will be responsible for optimizing user journeys across web, mobile, and referral ecosystems through structured experimentation and data-driven insights. Working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment, you will collaborate closely with growth, SEO, and product teams to identify friction points and unlock performance improvements. The role emphasizes ownership of A/B testing strategies, continuous iteration, and storytelling through data to influence decision-making. You will help shape how users discover and engage with digital products while contributing directly to measurable business growth. This is an opportunity to operate in a high-autonomy culture where experimentation and impact are central to daily work.

Accountabilities:

You will lead experimentation and optimization initiatives across digital channels, ensuring continuous improvement of conversion performance and user engagement through structured testing and actionable insights.

  • Own and execute A/B testing programs across organic, paid, and affiliate landing pages to improve conversion rates and reduce user friction
  • Manage optimization efforts across App Store and Play Store listings, including copy, visuals, and product page experiments to improve install performance
  • Analyze and refine referral systems by testing incentives, placements, and messaging to strengthen word-of-mouth growth and user acquisition
  • Collaborate with SEO and growth teams to align experimentation priorities with broader acquisition and retention strategies
  • Translate experiment results into clear insights and recommendations that inform product and marketing decisions
  • Monitor user behavior data across platforms to identify optimization opportunities and support data-driven decision-making
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, and comfortable working in a data-driven environment focused on experimentation and growth optimization.

  • 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, analytics, CRO, or growth-related roles
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as GA4, heatmaps, and A/B testing platforms to analyze user behavior and test performance
  • Strong understanding of experimentation design, hypothesis testing, and conversion rate optimization principles
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical and creative stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Growth-oriented mindset with curiosity about user behavior and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience with mobile growth, ASO (App Store Optimization), or referral systems is a strong plus
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary: CAD $60,000 – $75,000
  • Remote-first work model with flexible scheduling and asynchronous collaboration
  • Equity participation in a high-growth organization
  • Generous vacation policy, wellness days, and flexible time-off structure
  • Home office and professional development stipends (equipment, learning, tools, and connectivity)
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits, including parental support policies
  • Strong culture of autonomy, trust, and experimentation-driven growth
  • Opportunities to work with advanced analytics and growth tooling in a modern fintech environment.
