Job Description

Deal Operations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Deal Operations role based in United States.

This role sits at the heart of commercial execution, acting as the operational backbone for how enterprise deals are structured, approved, and closed across a fast-scaling SaaS organization.
You will own and orchestrate the full deal lifecycle, ensuring proposals, pricing, contracting, and approvals move efficiently from intake to signature.
The position plays a critical role in accelerating revenue by improving deal velocity while safeguarding compliance, margin, and commercial integrity.
You will partner closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, Security, and Product teams to translate complex requirements into structured, executable deals.
This is a highly cross-functional role where precision, speed, and process discipline directly impact revenue performance and customer experience.
You will also help shape scalable commercial infrastructure, embedding best practices into systems such as Salesforce and CLM tools.
The environment is fast-paced, data-driven, and highly collaborative, with strong emphasis on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the end-to-end commercial deal lifecycle, including RFPs, proposals, pricing, approvals, contract execution, and signature readiness
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs from Sales, Legal, Finance, Security, and Product to deliver accurate and timely customer-facing proposals
  • Manage and continuously improve the RFP and proposal process, including content libraries, templates, and standardized response frameworks
  • Govern deal workflows in CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy, compliance with approval matrices, and proper deal structuring
  • Oversee contract execution workflows, including redlining, negotiation of commercial terms, and alignment with approved deal structures
  • Serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and customers during the contracting phase to accelerate time-to-close
  • Maintain and improve CLM and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Ironclad, or similar) to ensure scalable deal operations
  • Enforce pricing, discounting, and approval policies while balancing speed, control, and commercial outcomes
  • Identify bottlenecks in deal processes and drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives
  • Build and maintain reusable content libraries, playbooks, and documentation to scale deal execution efficiency

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, or Contracting roles within a B2B SaaS environment
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end RFP and proposal processes with multiple cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong background in contract lifecycle management, including redlining, negotiation, and execution workflows
  • Experience working with CRM and CLM systems such as Salesforce, Ironclad, or equivalent platforms
  • Strong commercial acumen with understanding of pricing structures, deal terms, and margin impact
  • Ability to interpret and manage standard enterprise contract terms and escalate non-standard clauses appropriately
  • Experience engaging directly with enterprise customers during commercial negotiations
  • Strong process discipline with ability to enforce governance across Sales, Legal, and Finance teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Automation mindset with a focus on scaling and improving operational efficiency

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package with base salary and potential bonus incentives
  • Equity participation in a high-growth, mission-driven organization
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • Retirement savings plan including 401(k)
  • Flexible working hours with a remote-first work environment
  • Generous discretionary PTO and paid company holidays
  • Parental leave and family support benefits
  • Access to mental health and digital therapy support services
  • Financial wellness and advisory resources
  • Additional supplemental insurance options for enhanced coverage
