Position Overview:

The PR and Communication Associate will support the execution of ACE Money Transfer’s global public relations strategy, strengthening brand visibility across key remittance corridors and positioning the company as a trusted fintech leader.
This role requires a proactive communicator who understands financial services, regulatory sensitivity, and diaspora driven brand narratives.

Scope of the Position:

The PR Associate will be responsible for:

• Supporting multi market PR and Communication campaigns across sending and receiving corridors
• Driving consistent media visibility in fintech, banking, diaspora, and business publications
• Ensuring alignment between corporate messaging, compliance requirements, and brand tone
• Assisting in reputation management and crisis response coordination
• Supporting leadership positioning and thought leadership initiatives
• Contributing to structured PR reporting and performance tracking

This role directly impacts brand credibility, stakeholder trust, and market perception in priority growth regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft press releases, media briefs, and official statements
• Develop and maintain relationships with relevant media outlets and journalists
• Coordinate PR campaigns for product launches, partnerships, corridor expansions, and events
• Monitor media coverage and prepare monthly and quarterly PR reports
• Support crisis communication preparedness and response
• Assist in profiling senior leadership through interviews, op-eds, and speaking engagements
• Work closely with marketing, compliance, and product teams to ensure messaging accuracy

Performance Expectations

• Increase quality media placements across key markets
• Strengthen brand visibility within fintech and remittance sectors
• Ensure timely PR execution aligned with marketing calendar
• Maintain compliance-safe communication standards

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or media
• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or financial services preferred
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
• Strong stakeholder and media relationship management skills.
