Summary: The Production Supervisor leads and manages a designated team in the manufacturing of Stellar products, optimizing resources to maximize production while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Through servant leadership, strategic planning, continuous improvement, and a People First mindset, this role fosters an environment where employees are engaged, developed, respected, and empowered to achieve exceptional business results. The Supervisor is accountable to both management and team members, building trust by understanding employee needs, driving operational excellence, maintaining process and product consistency, achieving production targets, supporting customer satisfaction, and promoting a safe, positive workplace culture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Coaching:
• Independently supervises staff in daily operations, effectively coach, guide and manage employee issues and concerns.
• Champion a People First culture by fostering an environment built on trust, respect, accountability, inclusion, and open communication.
• Support and model company values by demonstrating integrity, empathy, accountability, and servant leadership in all interactions.
• Coaches and counsel’s employees on a timely basis regarding behavior, skills and attitude to form and maintain a high-performance team.
• Uses tact and good judgment when correcting production errors or settling disputes.
• Ensure timely and meaningful recognition of individual and team achievements that support company values, safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Foster a culture where employee feedback is actively sought, valued, and acted upon to improve the work environment and overall employee experience.
• Ensure people are working to capacity and within a reasonable workload.
• Resolves day-to-day problems that workers may have with their jobs.
• Educates employees on company policy and enforces policy in a fair and consistent manner.
Leading assigned function:
• Responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, directing, performance assessment, making salary recommendations and delivering employee counseling for assigned employees.
• Ensures work performed is safe, accurate, timely and efficient, compliant with corporate policies.
• Determines production schedule, update schedule board and communicate daily production schedule.
• Ensures cost effectiveness, quality standards and safety requirements are attainable in the production process.
• Actively evaluates current and future needs of equipment and employees.
• Ensures adequate material supply for current and next shift.
• Leads and participates in investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensures hours are correct and approved in time system per guidelines.
• Ensures equipment is operational and production efficiently targets are being realized.
• Collaborates with other supervisors ensuring production goals are expeditiously completed and to assure a coordinated work relationship always exists.
• Communicates with maintenance on equipment issues and concerns.
• Maintains open line of communications with other departments and business functions.
• Executes and coordinates departmental training.
Requirements:
• Associate/bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Strong team player
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Capable of covering absences of their next level manager.

Preferred Experience:
General Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
