Job Description
Location: Henry Heights, Austin, TX
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly?
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join RYSE!
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the integrity, safety, and curb appeal of our communities. You’ll handle repairs, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure residents enjoy a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained home — all while delivering the exceptional service that defines RYSE.
What You’ll Do
Perform general maintenance and repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and grounds.
Complete tasks such as drywall repair, cabinet and countertop replacement, painting, and door/lock repairs.
Conduct preventive maintenance on property systems including lighting, pools, elevators, and golf carts.
Ensure all work orders are completed accurately, timely, and in line with RYSE standards.
Inspect buildings, amenities, and grounds regularly to ensure safety and cleanliness.
Respond to emergencies promptly, including inclement weather, flooding, or fire events.
Interact courteously and professionally with residents to address maintenance requests.
Follow all safety and risk management protocols and participate in the on-call maintenance rotation.
Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company values in every interaction.
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum one year of experience in apartment or property maintenance preferred.
Strong working knowledge of general maintenance procedures.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Customer-focused mindset with professionalism under pressure.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance required.
Ability to comply with all safety and uniform requirements.
