Job Description

Senior Salesforce Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Salesforce Engineer based in Canada.

In this role, you will help shape and scale a Salesforce-native revenue orchestration platform that powers advanced sales execution workflows for high-performing global teams. You will design and build core features within a complex ISV-managed package, driving end-to-end engineering outcomes from architecture through deployment and adoption. The position sits at the intersection of product engineering, customer experience, and platform scalability, where your work directly influences how sales teams operate and perform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, customer-facing teams, and engineers to translate real-world sales challenges into robust technical solutions. This is a high-impact role requiring strong autonomy, systems thinking, and the ability to solve ambiguous problems in a fast-moving environment. You will also play a key role in improving engineering standards and enabling more intelligent, AI-assisted workflows across the platform.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of Salesforce-based features within a managed ISV package, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Build and maintain robust solutions using Apex and related Salesforce technologies, with a focus on high-quality, production-grade code.
  • Design and optimize data models, permissions, integrations, and platform constraints to support complex revenue and sales workflows.
  • Collaborate with product, customer success, and sales teams to translate customer needs into technical requirements and actionable engineering plans.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to Salesforce limits, feature flags, multi-org behavior, and system integrations early in the development lifecycle.
  • Improve system observability, release readiness, and post-deployment monitoring to ensure continuous product quality and adoption.
  • Contribute to engineering best practices by enhancing code reviews, documenting reusable patterns, and supporting team-wide technical excellence.
  • Participate in full lifecycle ownership of features, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and iteration.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce development and ecosystem tools.
  • Deep proficiency in Apex, Salesforce data modeling, permissions, governor limits, and managed package development (ISV/AppExchange experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of system design, scalable architecture, and cross-platform integrations within complex SaaS environments.
  • Experience working with LWC and/or modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Proven ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments and drive complex engineering initiatives to completion.
  • Strong product mindset with the ability to connect technical decisions to customer value, usability, and long-term maintainability.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate development, testing, debugging, documentation, and engineering workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in revenue intelligence, sales engagement, or workflow automation platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with observability, release management, and post-launch performance tracking is highly valued.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package including base salary and potential equity/stock options.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and wellness coverage.
  • Flexible remote work environment.
  • Paid parental leave and family-friendly policies.
  • Flexible paid time off to support work-life balance.
  • Opportunity to work on a high-growth, AI-enabled Salesforce-native platform used by global enterprise customers.
  • Strong engineering culture focused on ownership, autonomy, and continuous learning.
  • Access to modern tools and AI-assisted development workflows.
