D365 F&O Senior WMS/SCM Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a D365 F&O Senior WMS/SCM Consultant based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of enterprise ERP delivery and advanced supply chain transformation, supporting complex Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations across manufacturing and distribution environments. You will work closely with clients to design, configure, and optimize warehouse and supply chain processes that directly impact operational efficiency and business performance. The position involves hands-on functional leadership across full lifecycle implementations, from requirements gathering through go-live and post-production support. You will collaborate with both functional and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions using D365 F&O and related tools. This is a client-facing consulting role that combines solution design, process improvement, and strategic advisory work. It is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex supply chain challenges in dynamic enterprise environments.

Accountabilities

Lead end-to-end D365 F&O supply chain and warehouse management implementations, ensuring solutions align with client business processes and industry best practices.

  • Drive requirements gathering, process analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment for WMS and SCM workstreams
  • Act as a subject matter expert across purchasing, sales, inventory, trade and logistics, and warehouse operations within D365 F&O
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical consultants, developers, and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Support multiple full-cycle ERP implementations, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with scope and objectives
  • Utilize tools such as Lifecycle Services and DevOps to manage delivery activities and project execution
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing and solution standardization across engagements
  • Support advanced supply chain advisory discussions, including process optimization and system modernization
Requirements

Extensive experience in ERP supply chain consulting with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and warehouse management processes.

  • 5+ years of ERP and supply chain implementation experience, including at least 2+ years with D365 F&O or AX
  • 4+ full lifecycle ERP implementations with a focus on manufacturing or distribution environments
  • Strong functional knowledge of WMS, inventory management, procurement, sales, and logistics processes
  • Experience working in consulting environments and leading client-facing workshops and solution discussions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions
  • Ability to travel 25–50% within the United States
  • Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder
  • Experience with production planning, transportation management, or additional SCM certifications (e.g., APICS) is a plus
