Requirements:

● Minimum of 3 years of beverage alcohol sales experience in the Colorado market

● Proven track record of securing new placements across all trade channels, achieving double-digit sales growth, and building strong relationships with distributors and on- and off-premise accounts.

● Established network and strong relationships within the Denver beverage community.

● Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends for events, travel to support personnel in satellite markets, and monthly visits to the distillery.

● Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance required.

● Willingness and ability to host colleagues and company leadership in the market, including participating in ride-alongs.

● Ability to regularly lift and carry a standard case of spirits.

About the Role:

The Sales Representative for the Denver territory is responsible for driving sales growth, activating accounts, developing new business, and strengthening Woody Creek Distillers’ presence throughout the market. The ideal candidate is a passionate spirits industry professional who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and has a proven ability to quickly build relationships with buyers, distributor partners, and key accounts that translate into measurable sales growth. This role requires strong account management, prospecting, and execution skills, along with the flexibility to work evenings and weekends for events, travel within the territory and to monthly distillery visits, host leadership and distributor partners in the market, maintain a reliable vehicle with current insurance, and lift and carry cases of spirits.

Sales & Business Development

● Drive sales growth and consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual depletion targets within an assigned territory.

● Expand distribution, increase shelf presence, secure menu placements, and execute displays and promotional programs across key accounts.

● Identify, prospect, and acquire new business opportunities to expand market penetration and increase brand revenue.

● Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize sales volume, profitability, and long-term customer relationships.

● Conduct high-impact sales calls and manage territory activities to increase product velocity and market share.

● Negotiate product placements, feature opportunities, and promotional programs that drive consumer trial and repeat purchases.

Brand Growth & Market Execution

● Act as a brand ambassador by clearly communicating brand stories, product attributes, and competitive advantages.

● Increase brand awareness and visibility through strong market presence, effective merchandising, and trade engagement.

● Ensure products are consistently executed in alignment with company standards and brand guidelines.

● Deliver product trainings, tastings, and educational programs to strengthen distributor and account advocacy.

● Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and inform sales strategies.

Distributor Management

● Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributor leadership, sales managers, and field representatives.

● Conduct ride-alongs, market visits, and sales meetings to reinforce execution of sales priorities and objectives.

● Influence distributor focus and priorities to improve portfolio awareness, account penetration, and overall sales performance.

● Collaborate with distributor partners to design and execute territory growth plans that achieve volume and distribution goals.

Account Management & Relationship Building

● Build and sustain strong relationships with on-premise and off-premise accounts to drive sales growth and brand loyalty.

● Assess account performance and implement strategies to improve sales, distribution, and product mix.

● Partner with key accounts to develop mutually beneficial promotions, events, and activation opportunities.

● Represent the company within the local trade community to strengthen brand presence and business relationships.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

● Analyze sales data, depletion reports, distribution metrics, and market trends to identify opportunities and drive performance.

● Maintain accurate CRM records of account activity, sales calls, opportunities, and pipeline management.

● Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including depletions, distribution gains, menu placements, displays, and account growth.

● Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and actionable recommendations to support business objectives.

● Continuously evaluate territory performance and adjust sales strategies to maximize growth and exceed targets.


The pay range for this role is:
70,000 - 100,000 USD per year(Colorado)
