This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Insurance Compliance Analyst - Commercial P&C based in the United States.
As an Insurance Compliance Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting regulatory compliance across commercial property and casualty insurance operations. Working in a fully remote environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage product filings, maintain regulatory documentation, and ensure compliance with industry standards. This position offers broad exposure to insurance operations while allowing you to influence product development, regulatory readiness, and business processes. - Prepare, submit, and manage insurance filings for forms, rates, and rules through SERFF.
- Maintain accurate product form inventories, applicability matrices, and regulatory filing libraries.
- Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure the accuracy and compliance of insurance form packages.
- Support regulatory, insurer, and reinsurer audits by preparing documentation and responding to compliance requests.
- Manage regulatory data calls and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
- Maintain and support customer complaint management processes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in marketing material reviews to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Assist with broker contract reviews, licensing, and appointment processes.
- Monitor compliance activities and recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
- Contribute to additional compliance initiatives and cross-functional projects as business needs evolve.
- At least 5 years of compliance experience within the Property & Casualty insurance industry, with commercial lines experience strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of SERFF, ISO, LexisNexis, SNL, APCIA, NAIC resources, and Department of Insurance (DOI) regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying compliance risks and opportunities.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong cross-functional partnerships.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
