This is a senior technical leadership role focused on driving the design, development, and delivery of complex MES/MOM solutions within large-scale manufacturing environments. You will act as both a hands-on senior engineer and a strategic technical authority, shaping architecture decisions, enforcing engineering standards, and ensuring high-quality solution delivery across enterprise deployments. The role combines deep software development expertise with strong client-facing responsibilities, requiring close collaboration with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. You will also play a key role in mentoring development teams, improving engineering practices, and supporting continuous platform enhancement. Operating in a global and highly technical environment, you will influence both solution direction and implementation quality. This position is ideal for an experienced engineering leader passionate about manufacturing systems, architecture excellence, and building high-performing teams.
- Lead development efforts across complex MES/MOM implementations, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software delivery.
- Provide architectural guidance, technical leadership, and enforcement of coding and SDLC standards across projects.
- Design, develop, and customize MES solutions, including UI development, integrations, and backend services using C#, .NET, SQL, and web services.
- Conduct code reviews, validate technical designs, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
- Support system integration, testing, upgrades, and troubleshooting of complex customer environments.
- Translate business and functional requirements into robust technical solutions and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure successful delivery, issue resolution, and solution optimization.
- Mentor and train developers, contributing to knowledge sharing, onboarding, and development best practices.
- 10–15 years of experience in software development within SDLC environments.
- 7–10 years of experience leading development or customization in MES/MOM systems such as Siemens Opcenter or Camstar.
- 5–7 years of experience working on large-scale manufacturing system implementations in client-facing roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET, SQL, Web Services, and integration technologies (WCF, APIs).
- Deep understanding of MES platforms, factory modeling, system design, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions, present solutions to stakeholders, and influence decision-making at senior levels.
- Strong mentoring, leadership, and team development capabilities in distributed/global environments.
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, pharma) is an advantage.
