PARTS COUNTER PERSON
Airstream Orange County | Orange County, CA

Airstream Orange County is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Parts Counter Person to join our growing dealership team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced RV or automotive environment and enjoys supporting both customers and service technicians with accuracy and efficiency.

If you have experience in RV parts, automotive parts, dealership operations, or inventory management, we want to hear from you. Training may also be provided for the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist retail customers and service technicians with parts inquiries, recommendations, and orders
  • Source, order, receive, and stock parts from multiple vendors
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper organization of the parts department
  • Process parts invoices, returns, and warranty-related transactions
  • Coordinate closely with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely parts availability
  • Track and manage parts orders using dealership management systems
  • Monitor backorders and provide timely updates to internal teams and customers
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts department

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in RV, automotive, or dealership parts departments preferred
  • Experience with CDK Drive strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Airstream parts systems or RV parts catalogs is a plus
  • Knowledge of inventory control and vendor ordering processes
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive, customer-first attitude
  • Experience with warranty and parts return processing highly desirable

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the dealership regularly
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments (service drive, lot, storage areas)
  • Frequent use of computers, phones, and dealership systems
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and organization in a fast-paced setting

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour
  • Compensation is based on experience, skillset, and dealership background
