Health Economics Consultant (Evidence Evaluation)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Health Economics Consultant (Evidence Evaluation) based in India.

This role sits at the intersection of health economics, evidence synthesis, and market access strategy, supporting the generation of high-quality insights that inform healthcare decision-making. You will contribute to the design and delivery of evidence evaluation projects, with a strong focus on systematic literature reviews and robust methodological execution. The position involves translating complex clinical and economic evidence into clear, actionable outputs that support strategic recommendations for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients. You will work closely with senior consultants and project leads in a collaborative, research-driven environment. The role offers exposure to global HEOR projects and client-facing responsibilities, with opportunities to gradually take ownership of project workstreams. Accountabilities:
  • Execute and support health economics and evidence evaluation projects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of scientific outputs.
  • Lead or contribute to systematic literature review (SLR) activities including protocol development, screening, data extraction, and quantitative feasibility assessments.
  • Analyze and synthesize research findings to support strategic recommendations under the guidance of senior project leads.
  • Develop high-quality deliverables such as reports, slide decks, manuscripts, abstracts, and conference materials.
  • Ensure all project work aligns with defined methodologies, client expectations, and internal consulting standards.
  • Manage assigned project tasks, prioritize workload effectively, and support end-to-end project execution activities.
  • Identify project risks or issues and escalate with proposed solutions where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to client communications and presentations when required.
  • Support proposal development activities and contribute to identifying potential business opportunities.
  • Participate in internal initiatives, mentoring, and continuous improvement activities within the consulting practice.
Requirements:
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine (MBBS/BDS), or PhD is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HEOR, health economics, or evidence synthesis roles.
  • Strong experience in systematic literature reviews (SLR) and evidence evaluation methodologies.
  • Good understanding of market access and health economics principles.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to methodological rigor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to present technical information clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality outputs.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced consulting environment.
