Senior Brand Designer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Brand Designer based in the United States.

As a Senior Brand Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping impactful brand identities for a diverse portfolio of organizations. This position offers the opportunity to lead complex branding initiatives from discovery through implementation, translating strategic insights into compelling visual systems. Working within a fully remote and highly collaborative environment, you will partner with multidisciplinary teams to create thoughtful, effective, and innovative brand experiences. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through creative challenges and helping them confidently express their brand vision. This role is ideal for an experienced design leader who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys mentoring others, and is passionate about elevating the quality and impact of brand design.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the development of comprehensive brand identity systems and their application across multiple touchpoints, including digital, print, environmental, packaging, and experiential platforms.
  • Translate strategic insights into visually compelling creative solutions that align with client objectives and business goals.
  • Present creative concepts and design rationale to clients and stakeholders, facilitating discussions and managing feedback throughout the branding process.
  • Build detailed brand guidelines and implementation frameworks that enable successful brand adoption and long-term consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with strategists, writers, project managers, and designers to deliver cohesive and impactful branding engagements.
  • Participate in discovery activities such as workshops, interviews, research initiatives, and client meetings to inform creative direction.
  • Mentor and provide creative guidance to fellow designers while contributing to the overall growth and quality of the design team.
  • Support broader branding efforts by contributing insights related to strategy, messaging, naming, and innovation initiatives.
Requirements
  • Significant professional experience leading brand identity and visual system design projects at a senior level.
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, along with strong working knowledge of Figma and Sketch.
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating brandmarks and identity systems and applying them across a wide range of media and channels.
  • Proven ability to connect business and brand strategy with effective creative execution.
  • Experience managing client relationships, presenting work to executive-level stakeholders, and navigating complex feedback processes.
  • Strong understanding of print production processes and experience collaborating with web development teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and written English skills.
  • Ability to balance creative excellence with business objectives, project constraints, and timelines.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Experience mentoring designers and contributing to a collaborative creative culture.
  • Additional expertise in areas such as motion design, illustration, UI design, photography, art direction, 3D design, coding, type design, information design, or copywriting is considered a plus.
