The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
The AVP Data Analytics/Operations Southern Region will be responsible for the overall operations of hospital laboratories in the region (CMC, MMC, MMCSC, and Hamilton),
The AVP will assure the laboratories are compliant with Federal (CLIA) and state regulatory requirement and accreditation standards such as Joint Commission and College of American Pathologists,
The AVP will be responsible for supporting all laboratory projects/contacts with data analytics across the service line,

Oversees laboratory operations in the southern region (CMC, MMC, MMCSC and Hamilton),

Responsible for data analytics for all projects across the laboratory service line working closely with supply chain and finance,

Responsible for monitoring the budgets across the southern region,

Approves personnel actions including hiring, terminations and discipline,
5,
Responsible for identifying areas of consolidation and standards across the service line,

Monitors activity to ensure compliance with laws, government regulations and accrediting bodies,

Delivers comprehensive plans and strategies for achieving identified goals and objectives,

Works with leadership to develop goals across the laboratory service line,

Works with leadership on service line policy development and implementation,

Assist the SVP laboratory services in developing and instituting industry best practices regarding current and emerging technologies,
Fosters effective use of technology in order to maximize utility, return on investment and client satisfaction

Provide leadership, guidance and structure for continuous Personal and Professional growth and development of staff,

Resolve problems while understanding and supporting staff concerns and sentiments during stressful or frustrating conditions,
Education/Experience
Ten plus years of laboratory experience,
Five years of supervisory/manager/director experience,
Bachelor s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biological Science or Chemistry,
Registered with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, National Certifying Agency preferred,
Master s in Laboratory Science or management preferred,
Detail oriented, reliable and able to multitask in a fast passed high volume work environment,
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with peers and leadership
Effective verbal and written communication skills, strong presentations,
Expert knowledge of Laboratory operations,
Excellent analytic skills and the ability to manage results,
Skills
Advanced knowledge of complex laboratory testing methodologies,
Advanced knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements,
Advanced problem-solving skills for complex laboratory issues,
Advanced knowledge of regulatory standards and experience in implementing and meeting regulatory standards,
Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
Strong attention to detail, organization, confidentiality, and customer service skills,
Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple requests, and function effectively in a busy clinical environment,
Excellent project management skills and ability to work with cross-department to meet laboratory and hospital goals
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills,
