This is a remote opportunity focused on delivering high-quality CAD documentation and facilities data within a global corporate real estate environment.
You will play a key role in maintaining accurate architectural, furniture, occupancy, and space data across complex portfolios.
The position combines technical AutoCAD expertise with CAFM/IWMS systems, data management, quality assurance, and project coordination.
You will help ensure that drawings and facility information remain accurate, standardized, and aligned with business and client requirements.
The role also involves analyzing space data, supporting continuous improvement, and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple projects.

- Update and maintain CAD documentation for office spaces, furniture layouts, occupancy information, and space data based on portfolio, relocation, and project requirements.
- Create and maintain polylined drawings in accordance with BOMA standards, including floor areas, internal space types, and other relevant spatial metrics.
- Use AutoCAD tools such as palette toolbars, custom palettes, standard furniture blocks, LISP routines, and command shortcuts while following established layer, file management, and space standards.
- Upload drawing information into CAFM/IWMS platforms and maintain accurate space types, identifiers, occupancy information, and related data.
- Perform quality assurance and validation activities to identify discrepancies, improve data accuracy, and incorporate feedback from project reviews.
- Manage multiple projects and work queues from different sources, prioritizing deliverables according to defined SLAs, deadlines, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements, troubleshoot localization or data issues, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions.
- Support innovative technical solutions and, where appropriate, provide training or guidance to colleagues on CAD and related technical competencies.
- Conduct site walkthroughs when required to validate drawings and space data against actual conditions, documenting discrepancies and updating CAD files accordingly.
- Maintain reliable documentation by recording site findings, including photographs and identified differences in dimensions, room configurations, equipment locations, and spatial attributes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives involving space planning, occupancy management, asset data, document control, and CAFM processes.
- Degree or formal education in Drafting, Design, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline, with approximately 1–3 years of relevant CAD/CAFM or project experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, particularly for architectural as-built drawings and furniture layouts, including experience with palettes, custom toolbars, LISP routines, and shortcuts.
- Understanding of architectural and furniture plans, workplace standards, space categorization, and facilities or corporate real estate practices.
- Knowledge of BOMA and/or OSCRE principles, including circulation, egress, common areas, core areas, amenities, and floor-area concepts.
- Experience with CAFM/IWMS platforms such as Archibus, FMSystems, or comparable technologies is an asset.
- Familiarity with document control, quality assurance, continuous improvement, space planning, occupancy and allocation management, construction drawings, and facilities or asset management processes.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, including the ability to manage data effectively and work with pivot tables; familiarity with PowerPoint, Word, and Visio is beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities while meeting defined SLAs and time-sensitive deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively, resolve conflicts, and establish productive stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a diverse, collaborative, and fast-paced team environment.

- Willingness and ability to conduct site walkthroughs when required to validate physical conditions against CAD documentation.
- Estimated annual base salary of $62,000–$70,000 CAD, with final compensation based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
