Head Softball Coach in Boston, Massachusetts at Bunker Hill Community College

We are seeking a Head Softball Coach to lead our softball program and oversee all aspects of coaching and mentoring student-athletes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing practice plans, game strategies, and player development programs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop practice plans and strategies to improve team performance.
• Mentor and motivate student-athletes both on and off the field.
• Coordinate game schedules and travel arrangements.
• Recruit and retain talented softball players.
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to ensure program success.
• Uphold the academic and ethical standards of the program.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Previous coaching experience in high school or college-level softball.
• Strong knowledge of the rules and regulations of softball.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid (preferred).

Additional Information:

Salary: $8,000 paid per stipend
