Job Description

Atlanta, Georgia/Remote-Hybrid

About Us:
Alloy is an integrated marketing agency. We specialize in helping brands across the full funnel, from designing and developing digital solutions and brands that inspire, to creating complete communication offerings and performance marketing campaigns. Our cross-channel solutions help innovative brands engage with their buyers, shape public opinion, build lasting influence, create new categories, and accelerate growth and market share.

Behind it all is a group of nerds, rebels and creatives. We’ve been called a Best Place to Work (10 times and counting, to be exact). And we’re growing this Uncommon Crew.

Details of this Role:

As Paid Media Director, you’ll manage select clients for Alloy’s paid media practice end to end overseeing strategy, planning, buying, activation, measurement, and optimization across B2B and B2C programs. The role is integrated, but its center of gravity is digital performance: lead generation, e-commerce, and retail media.

This is a player-coach role. You’ll lead the day-to-day team and set direction, and may also be required to build, launch, and optimize campaigns yourself in Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, programmatic DSPs, and retail media platforms. You’ll be the client-facing lead, connecting media performance to clients’ CRM and sales data and turning results into a clear story about what’s working, what isn’t, and what’s next.

This is a hybrid (in-person & remote) opportunity to work in our Atlanta office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and planning: Build integrated paid media plans with clear audience strategy, channel mix, budget allocation, and KPIs tied to client business outcomes such as pipeline, revenue, and ROAS. Must keep all other aspects of marketing top of mind to understand how paid media is woven into the broader marketing mix and how all elements impact one another.
  • Buying and activation: Negotiate and execute media buys, and partner with the team to build and launch campaigns across paid search (including Shopping and Performance Max), paid social (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and others as needed), programmatic, Content Syndication, Generative AI (ChatGPT) and retail media.
  • E-commerce and retail media: Plan and manage campaigns on retail media networks such as Amazon Ads and Walmart Connect, along with product feed and shopping campaigns that drive measurable sales.
  • Lead generation: Design full-funnel lead gen programs, including lead forms, landing page and CRO recommendations, ABM where relevant, and lead quality feedback loops.
  • Optimization: Work with the team to monitor performance daily, test continuously, and make in-platform adjustments to bids, budgets, audiences, and creative.
  • CRM and data connection: Partner with clients and Alloy’s Martech team to connect ad platforms to CRMs such as Salesforce and HubSpot through offline conversion imports, conversion APIs, and closed-loop attribution, so optimization is based on qualified leads and revenue, not just clicks.
  • Reporting and storytelling: Own client reporting for paid media while partnering with web and PR teams to deliver a holistic view of data driven outcomes. Turn platform, analytics, and CRM data into a clear narrative with recommendations, and present it confidently in monthly and quarterly reviews.
  • Team leadership: Manage and develop direct reports, oversee freelance and ad-ops partners, and build the operating model and processes that let the media team scale.
  • AI and efficiency: Use generative AI tools to speed up analysis, reporting, and campaign operations.
  • Collaboration: Work with Engagement, Martech, Client Service, and Creative teams to deliver integrated campaigns.

Core Requirements:

  • 8+ years in digital paid media, including at least 3 years leading a team, ideally in an agency specializing in digital media
  • Recent, hands-on platform experience managing campaigns in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and at least one programmatic DSP (such as The Trade Desk, DV360, or StackAdapt)
  • Proven experience with e-commerce and retail media campaigns (Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Google Merchant Center, or similar)
  • A track record of driving lead generation results for B2B and/or B2C clients
  • Experience connecting ad platforms to client CRMs and building closed-loop measurement including Salesforce and HubSpot along with GTM platforms like ZoomInfo
  • Strong command of GA4, Google Tag Manager, and dashboarding tools such as Looker Studio
  • Experience owning media planning and buying, including budget pacing and allocation across channels
  • Ability to turn data into a compelling client story and present it to senior stakeholders
  • Comfort using generative AI tools in day-to-day media work

Nice to have:

  • ABM platform experience (such as 6sense or ZoomInfo)
  • Experience with tech or B2B clients in complex or niche industries
  • Familiarity with incrementality testing or media mix modeling
  • Experience planning and buying traditional media channels including TV, Radio, Print and Outdoor

The Benefits:
(just a few because if we listed them all this description would be too long!)

  • Competitive salary
  • Merit-based bonuses and promotions
  • A hybrid work model
  • Unlimited PTO + 10 additional agency-wide holidays + end-of-year holiday week off
  • Summer Fridays
  • 401(k) match
  • 6-year workiversary paid sabbatical
  • Medical dental and vision benefits (including HSA/FSA), Life Insurance, Short & Long-term disability, and more
  • Generous paid parental leave
  • Professional development stipend
  • Annual retreats
  • Cell phone reimbursement

Our Commitment:

Inclusivity and respect are two virtues that this company was built on from day one. Alloy does not discriminate based on race, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected category. We want the best people, and it doesn’t matter what you look like or who your friends are. We also believe that the workplace should be comfortable and safe.
