Job Title: Psychiatrist (MD/DO) – Adult Inpatient
Location: HCA Florida Orange Park Medical Center, Orange Park, Florida

Schedule: Monday–Friday, one night of call per week, one weekend of on-site rounding per month
Ally Psychiatry is seeking a Board-Certified Adult Psychiatrist to join our behavioral health team at HCA Florida Orange Park Medical Center. This role covers adult inpatient psychiatry along with PHP/IOP programming, ECT, psychiatric consults, and GME resident teaching, working alongside an experienced, physician-led team and a strong midlevel support staff.
Position Highlights
- Full-time adult inpatient psychiatry position at HCA Florida Orange Park Medical Center
- PHP/IOP (Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient) program involvement
- Access to Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) for patients requiring advanced treatment
- Psychiatric consult responsibilities
- GME Faculty appointment available – teach and mentor psychiatry residents
- Supervise and collaborate with midlevel providers (NPs/PAs)
- Collaborative, physician-led practice environment

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for adult inpatients
- Manage adult inpatient and PHP/IOP treatment plans
- Administer and oversee Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) treatment
- Provide psychiatric consultation services as needed
- Supervise and collaborate with midlevel providers (NPs/PAs)
- Teach, supervise, and mentor psychiatry residents as GME faculty
- Work alongside therapists, nursing staff, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in shared call coverage

Requirements:
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure
- Experience with ECT preferred
- Interest in GME teaching and resident supervision a plus
- Comfortable supervising and collaborating with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
