JOB DESCRIPTION:
The postdoctoral fellow will conduct, report and present research in his/her field of study under the supervision of a faculty mentor. This is a training position, and is not expected to be a permanent position. The Postdoctoral Fellow II position will lead and support multiple NIH-funded projects in the reproductive exosome biology laboratory. Research efforts will focus on engineering vesicles (exosomes) as drug delivery vehicles and discovering exosomes as biomarkers in human reproductive biological models using micro physiologic systems (organ-on-a-chip).

- Ph.D., M.D. or Doctoral equivalent in any field and two (2) years of completed Postdoctoral Fellow research experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Serve as project lead and manage multiple NIH-funded research projects, including conducting routine laboratory experiments.
- Participate in project management meetings and provide progress updates to NIH.
- Conduct molecular, cellular, and exosome-based experiments using reproductive tissue cell lines and models; prepare data for manuscripts, grant submissions, and presentations.
- Train postdoctoral and clinical fellows in laboratory techniques and methodologies.
- Support instructional activities for the newly established OBGYN PhD course by conducting exosome laboratory sessions.
