This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Workday HCM Consulting based in India.
This is a senior consulting role within a fast-growing Workday delivery environment, where you will play a key part in implementing and optimizing Workday HCM solutions for global clients. You will be involved across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support. The role offers strong exposure to multiple Workday modules and complex enterprise environments. You will work closely with customers to translate business needs into scalable system solutions. This is a highly collaborative position where you will engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across different geographies. It is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex HR technology challenges while working in a dynamic, client-facing consulting setting. You will also contribute to knowledge sharing and mentoring within a growing Workday practice.
- Act as a Workday HCM subject matter expert, supporting design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production activities across multiple client engagements.
- Lead or contribute to requirement-gathering sessions with clients and translate business needs into effective Workday solutions.
- Work across various Workday HCM modules such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Learning, and Talent.
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously across different project phases while ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Identify risks, recommend solutions, and support decision-making for post-production enhancements and system optimization.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure alignment between technical configuration and client design expectations.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and contribute to clear, structured communication across teams.
- Support and mentor junior consultants while sharing best practices and Workday expertise across the practice.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience as a Workday Consultant with hands-on involvement in implementation or support projects.
- Active Workday certification in at least one HCM module (e.g., Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Learning, or Talent).
- Strong understanding of end-to-end HCM processes and enterprise HR systems.
- Proven experience in gathering requirements, designing solutions, configuring systems, testing, and deploying Workday functionality.
- Excellent consulting, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to manage client expectations effectively.
- Ability to work under multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
