League Marshal in Lawton, Oklahoma at Eastern Sports Management

Eastern Sports Management (ESM) is based in Fredericksburg, Virginia. ESM’s management portfolio consists of venues in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.

Eastern Sports Management is currently accepting applications for League Marshal at its Lawton, OK facility. The League Marshal is responsible for operating scoreboards, and ensuring safety for all guests at events managed by ESM, including but not limited to players, coaches, officials, and spectators. The League Marshal reports directly to the Program Director.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Resolve any roster or eligibility challenges
• Monitor and limit player sidelines to players, coaches, and officials
• Ensure correct equipment is available for games
• Make sure games start on time
• Respond to all incidents, accidents, injuries, and altercations
• Complete and file required reports
• Ensure the Senior Program Director is informed of issues and updates for unusual circumstances
• Monitor practice/games
• Ensure the enforcement of applicable ESM and/or Lawton Parks & Recreation rules
• Ensure scoring is accurate
• Operate applicable scoreboards when necessary, and ensure scores/stats are kept accurately

• Must be able to work irregular shifts to include, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must be able carry, kneel, lift, move, pull, push, reach, sit, squat, and/or walk for the duration of the shift (8 or more hours)
• Must be able to carry, lift, push and pull heavy equipment.
