Job Description

About Us:
IMC Electrical provides electrical installation services for private and public facilities, with experience in multifamily and commercial projects. Role Overview:
Installs, programs, maintains, and repairs fire alarm, CCTV, security, and access control. Ensures all life safety and security systems function properly and comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, service, and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, intrusion detection, and access
control systems
• Program, configure, and test systems to ensure compliance with codes and
client specifications
• Perform inspections and functional testing to verify system integrity and
performance
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, providing prompt and effective
resolutions
• Prepare accurate service reports, documentation, and system records
• Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to achieve project
goals
• Ensure adherence to all safety policies, procedures, and industry standards
• Stay current with evolving technologies, products, and best practices in fire and
security systems

Required Skills and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in fire alarm systems, with additional experience in
CCTV, security, or access control systems with an emphasis on fire alarm
installation

Capabilities:
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication
• Ability to understand and work with mechanical systems, tools, and machinery
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Other:
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record

Working Conditions:
• Indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to high and low temperatures
• Potential exposure to noise, dust and chemicals
• Must be able to bend, climb, lift heavy tools and materials, and work in confined
spaces.
• Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, or working in awkward positions.
