About the Role:
The Hotel Executive Housekeeper at Hampton Inn & Suites Dupont, WA, plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout the property. This leadership position is responsible for managing and supervising the housekeeping team to maintain impeccable guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The Executive Housekeeper will develop and implement cleaning procedures, schedules, and quality control measures to optimize operational efficiency and uphold brand standards. Additionally, this role involves coordinating with other hotel departments to support seamless guest experiences and address any housekeeping-related concerns promptly. Ultimately, the Executive Housekeeper contributes significantly to the hotel's reputation by fostering a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning.
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a branded hotel environment.
- Familiarity with budgeting and inventory management.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental sustainability practices.
- Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, to communicate with a diverse workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality cleaning services.
- Develop and maintain cleaning schedules, inventory controls, and quality assurance protocols to meet brand and safety standards.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces regularly to ensure cleanliness and maintenance needs are addressed.
- Collaborate with the front desk, maintenance, and management teams to coordinate room availability and resolve guest requests or complaints.
- Manage housekeeping budgets, including labor costs, supplies, and equipment procurement, while optimizing resource utilization.
- Recruit, onboard, and evaluate housekeeping staff performance, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
