Working closely with educators, families, administrators, and school partners, the Special Education Supervisor promotes positive student outcomes while strengthening the quality and effectiveness of LEARN Academys special education services.

- Oversee special education programs, ensuring high-quality services and compliance with federal, state, district, and school requirements.
- Maintain a regular in-person presence at assigned school site(s) to support staff, observe service delivery, address partner needs, and ensure program quality.
- Lead, coach, and develop special education staff through observations, feedback, performance support, and ongoing professional development.
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs, including meetings, assessments, data collection, case management, and staff guidance as needed.
- Develop and deliver training based on staff needs, compliance requirements, best practices, and school or district priorities.
- Build strong relationships with school and district leaders, families, staff, and other stakeholders to address needs, monitor outcomes, and maintain partner satisfaction.
- Monitor program performance through audits and review of student, staff, and program data to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure compliance.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and leadership to support recruiting, interviewing, staffing, and community or university outreach.
- Support new business development, contract renewals, and program growth by identifying opportunities and strengthening school and district partnerships.
- Stay current on special education laws, regulations, instructional practices, and professional standards, applying that knowledge to improve programs and student outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards in all aspects of the role.
- Masters Degree
- At least 5 years of school-based experience in special education required. Leadership, coaching, supervision, and/or program oversight experience highly desired.
- State license/certification and appropriate discipline credentials required.
- Pass background check.
