We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our supply chain operations and play a critical role in driving overall business performance.
This position is responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain functions, including procurement, inventory management, production planning, and logistics. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of developing efficient processes while leading day-to-day execution. Strong experience with ERP systems, particularly Epicor, is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and manage all supply chain functions, including procurement, planning, inventory, and logistics.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support business growth.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and accountability for supply chain performance and results.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Oversee supplier sourcing, selection, and negotiation to ensure cost, quality, and delivery expectations are met.
- Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships; manage vendor performance and accountability.
- Approve and oversee purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
Planning & Inventory Management
- Lead demand planning and material requirements planning (MRP) processes within Epicor.
- Ensure materials are available to meet production schedules while optimizing inventory levels.
- Monitor inventory performance, including excess, obsolete, and shortage risks, and take proactive action.
- Establish inventory strategies that balance service levels and working capital.
Operational Execution
- Oversee daily supply chain operations to ensure smooth and efficient execution.
- Monitor workflow performance and resolve bottlenecks, delays, or constraints.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in purchasing, planning, and inventory transactions.
ERP & Data Management
- Own and optimize supply chain functionality within Epicor (or similar ERP system).
- Ensure data integrity across item records, inventory levels, and order management.
- Develop and utilize reporting and analytics to support decision-making and performance tracking.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with production, operations, engineering, and finance teams to align supply chain activities with business needs.
- Communicate effectively regarding material availability, risks, and production impacts.
- Support company initiatives related to growth, cost controls, and operational excellence.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure all supply chain activities align with company policies, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Business, or related field (required or strongly preferred)
- 5–8+ years of progressive supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
- Prior leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong background in procurement, inventory management, and production planning
- Experience with ERP systems (Epicor strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive process improvements
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead in a fast-paced environment
