About the role

Parkline Motors is seeking an ASE Certified Automotive Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicle makes and models while ensuring repairs are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced dealership environment.

What you'll do

• Perform vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify recommended repairs
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, drivability, suspension, steering, brake, and engine-related concerns
• Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake service, suspension repairs, and fluid services
• Document repair findings and recommendations accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Collaborate with service advisors and management to ensure timely vehicle turnaround
• Operate shop equipment safely and follow all workplace safety procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Current ASE Certification required
• Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience performing repairs on multiple vehicle makes and models
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and repair software
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time position
• Monday through Friday with some Saturdays as needed
• On-site role at Parkline Motors in South Salt Lake, UT
• Work is performed in an automotive service shop with regular standing, lifting, bending, and use of shop equipment

Compensation

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
