Job Description

Description:

Position Summary:

The Internal Security Officer is a full-time, internal employee responsible for the close-in physical safety, secure transport, and logistical security planning for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Operating as a professional within our internal security department, this individual performs comprehensive threat mitigation, advanced site sweeps, and defensive driving. This position requires strict compliance with Texas DPS Private Security Bureau regulations for a Level IV Personal Protection Officer (PPO).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):

• Provide discreet, low-profile physical security for the CEO during daily business operations, corporate board meetings, public appearances, and special events within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and during travel.

• Act as the primary security driver for the CEO. Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle inspections, plan primary and secondary evacuation routes, manage real-time Dallas traffic or construction bottlenecks, and execute evasive driving maneuvers if threatened.

• Conduct "advance" security assessments of all locations the CEO intends to visit (offices, restaurants, event spaces). Coordinate with venue staff, identify emergency exits, and locate nearest medical trauma centers.

• Partner with internal corporate intelligence and cyber teams to monitor fixated threats, hostile communications, stalkers, or planned civil disruptions targeting the CEO or corporate office.

• Blend seamlessly into high-level corporate boardrooms, public forums, or casual events. Maintain flawless professional grooming standards and use elite communication skills to diffuse unwanted approaches or minor disturbances without drawing public attention.

• Serve as the immediate first responder to any medical crisis, administering trauma-level first aid, CPR, or AED usage until local Dallas emergency personnel arrive.

• Ability to maintain absolute mental focus and situational awareness during extended periods of standing, waiting, or tracking.

• This is an internal, full-time position that requires a high degree of scheduling flexibility. Must be willing to work irregular hours, long shifts, weekends, and holidays based on the CEO’s itinerary.

• Must be physically fit to operate effectively in the intense Texas summer heat during outdoor events or vehicle detail management.

• Must maintain a flawless standard of weapon concealment beneath business attire (suits, sport coats) while maintaining rapid deployment readiness.
