We are hiring multiple candidates for a full time or part time HHA or CNA position.
Employee Role: Home Health Aide (HHA)
The Home Health Aide (HHA) is a member of the client care team prepared to assist the professional registered nurse or therapist by providing selected personal care services and limited related household tasks. Their activities will be part of the patient’s plan of care and must be provided under a physician’s order. Home Health Aides work under the direct supervision of an RN in accordance with the plan of treatment.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Appropriately assist clients with personal care activities and provide companionship tasks in accordance with the care plan including:
- Baths (tub, shower, bed).
- Mouth care, denture care, skin care, foot care (no toenail cutting).
- Grooming (shampoo, comb hair, shave, file nails).
- Elimination (toilet, commode, urinal, bedpan).
- Transfers.
- Dressing and undressing activities.
- Ambulation.
- Feeding client
- Appropriately assist with household tasks directly related to the client’s health and in accordance with the care plan:
- Planning and preparing nutritious meals.
- Light housekeeping of client’s immediate environment.
- Laundry of clients bedding and clothing.
- Grocery shopping.
- Accurately measure and record temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Utilize equipment in an appropriate and safe manner.
- Perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy services.
- Remind client for self-administration of medication.
- Do Not Administer Medications. Medications include eye drops, ear drops, ointments, pills, suppositories, injections, herbal remedies, and over-the-counter medications such as Tylenol, Aspirin, vitamins, and minerals.
- Document services provided accurately.
- Report any changes in the client’s condition or incidents immediately.
- Ensure all HIPAA regulations are adhered to.
- Maintain and improve skills through attendance at staff development programs.
- Follow all agency policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Home Health Aides are required to possess a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, ability to read, write and carry out directions and maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job. Additionally, all HHAs must satisfactorily complete the standard home health aide certification program.
- Work Experience:
- Current certification (HHA).
- Be in compliance with all existing regulations and company policies.
- Must meet transportation, language, and cultural requirements specific to branch needs.
Additional Requirements: Bi-lingual – English/Spanish a plus.
