Wages and Hours
- Base Pay: $26+, based on relevant experience
- Work Hours: 4pm - 2am, Monday - Thursday
- Shift Premium Dollars: $1.50 per hour worked on 2nd shift
- Monthly Bonus Opportunity: earn up to $250 monthly safety and attendance bonus

Primary Functions
Set-up, check routine programs and operate CNC machines to perform a standard series of progressive machining operations to meet precise tolerance/finish requirements. Instruct other operators on the job requirements.
Duties
- Setup equipment and fixtures in machining center for other operators
- Select proper tooling
- Manually program short runs/special jobs
- Instruct operators on procedures and methods
- Make periodic operation checks to assure proper machining operations
- Diagnose troubles and make adjustments
- Work from drawings, process sheets, etc.
- Use a variety of precision measuring instruments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements for this position require continuous standing and intermittent walking, bending, sitting, and lifting of parts that may at times be in excess of 50 pounds. The CNC Set-Up Operator should have the physical and mental ability to perform the above necessary job functions while maintaining an exemplary safety record.
Requirements:Skills and Experience
- Requires general knowledge of machining fundamentals and basic operation skills, shop arithmetic, print reading and measuring procedures.
- On-the-job training of three to four years in applied machine shop experience.
- At least one year of set up experience with Mori Seiki machinery.
- Must be proficient with Fanuc controls, and must have horizontal set-up experience.
- Must be able to understand and edit basic programs.
Educational Requirements
Four years shop-related high school or vocational education supplemented with on-the-job training.
